Ada L. Agnew, 93


Ada Lindsey Agnew, 93, a resident at Sunnyside Presbyterian Retirement Community, Harrisonburg, died Sunday, March 9, 2008.

Mrs. Agnew was born Jan. 31, 1915, in Springfield, Ill., and was the daughter of the late Herman Albert and Myrtle Eva Daniel Lindsey.

She moved to Sunnyside in 1991 from Richmond. She attended Illinois State Normal School and was a member of the Massanutten Presbyterian Church.

In 1932, she married Lawrence W. Agnew, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Lawrence W. Agnew Jr. of Springfield, Ill.; a daughter, Mary Lindsey Crute of Richmond; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
