Gerald W. Aeschlimann

Gerald Wayne "Buck" Aeschlimann, 54, of Maysville, W.Va., died Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, W.Va.

He was born Feb. 16, 1951, in Washington, D.C., and was the son of the late Oscar Aeschlimann and Ethel B. Griffin Aeschlimann.

He and his family moved to West Virginia in 1987. He worked for Advantage Foods in Petersburg for 14 years and was presently employed at Pilgrim¡¦s Pride Corp. in Moorefield, W.Va.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Mary Dian Bassford Aeschlimann; two daughters, Mary Emily Aeschlimann of Maysville, W.Va., and Susan Laynette Miller of Seneca Rocks, W.Va.; three grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.

Pastor Greg Bland will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Saturday at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, W.Va. Burial will be at North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton, W.Va.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
