Teresa L. Adkins

Teresa Lynn Adkins, 48, of Gap Mills, W.Va., died Thursday, May 27, 2004, in the Charleston (W.Va.) General Hospital after a short illness.

Mrs. Adkins was born June 27, 1955, in Mullens, W.Va., and was the daughter of Margaret Barton Goode of Gap Mills, W.Va., and the late Paul I. Goode.

She had been a resident of Gap Mills, W.Va., for three years and was formerly of Martinsville, where she was manager of Brewers Video Club.

Her husband, Phillip Blaine Adkins, preceded her in death.

Surviving besides her mother are three daughters, Angela Adkins of Grottoes, Wanda J. Adkins and Michelle M. Adkins, both of Bassett; a sister, Tina G. Smith of Covel, W.Va.; a brother, Paul I. Goode of Princeton, W.Va., and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Longanacre Funeral Home Chapel in Fairlea, W.Va.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
