Richard A. Adamson III, 42


Richard Albert Adamson III, 42, of Franklin, W.Va. and Pembroke Pines, Fla., died Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, in an accident in his home on North Fork Mountain near Franklin.

Mr. Adamson was born Dec. 31, 1964, in Silver Spring, Md., and was the son of Paula Adamson of Pembroke Pines, Fla. and the late Richard Albert Adamson Jr.

He was a maintenance specialist and locksmith by trade and had always worked in the healthcare environment. He started his own part-time maintenance service. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, scuba diving, traveling, ballroom dancing and coin collecting.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Kirk Louis Adamson, and his grandfather, Louis Sanfilippo.

Father Mario Claro will conduct a memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, W.Va.
