Kathleen P. Adams

Kathleen Pullen Adams, 79, of 9272 Springs Road in Warrenton, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray.

Mrs. Adams was born Oct. 4, 1924, in Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Ennis Daniel Pullen and Maggie "Alice" Atkins Pullen of Luray.

She graduated from Madison College, now James Madison University, and was an elementary teacher for more than 20 years with Fairfax County Public Schools.

On July 18, 1953, she married Richard Odell Adams, who preceded her in death Sept. 1, 1999.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Deborah Nebel of Warrenton; two brothers, Bryan Pullen of Shenandoah, and Luther Pullen of Mechanicville, Md.; and two grandchildren.

Julianne Bowser Sloughfy will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray. Burial will be at Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
