Craig Allen Adams, age 74, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in Franklin, WV. He was born on
September 11, 1948, in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late Mearl J. and Margaret (West) Adams. On September 5,
1970, Craig married Rose Elva “Rosie” (Huffman) Adams, who survives in Wellsburg.
Craig was a 1968 graduate of Wellsburg High School. He retired in 2012 from Eagle Manufacturing in Wellsburg. He
was a Veteran of the United States Navy, where he served from 1968-1970. Craig was a member of the Moose and
the Masonic Lodge in Wellsburg.
Craig enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. His favorite past time was making memories with his family, especially his
grandchildren and relaxing at their cabin in Franklin.
In addition to his wife, Craig leaves behind to cherish his memory: 3 sons, Mark Adams (Melody) of Wellsburg, WV,
Brian Adams (Amanda Simmons) of Franklin, WV; Travis Adams of Wellsburg, WV; 3 grandsons, Andrew, Alex, and
Zander Adams; a sister, Kay Junura (John) of New Cumberland, WV; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law,
nieces and nephews.
Craig's family will receive friends on Saturday, June 10, 2023, 11 AM until 1:00 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in
Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Cedar Hill
Cemetery, with Military Honors conducted by The US Navy. Memories and words of comfort may be left at
