Paul ErvinAcker Jr., 68, of Crimora passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 .
Paul was born April 14, 1954, in Rome, New York and was the son of the
late Paul Ervin Acker Sr. and Dorreene Ann (Burdick) Bell.
He was retired but kept busy doing projects, crafts, painting, or anything
with his hands. He was extremely talented in his projects. He loved
spending time with family, friends and grandchildren buying them candy
or bringing little gifts. He also loved watching the Washington Redskins
on Sunday’s depending on the score as many would know.
He is survived by his children, Paul Acker III and wife Tonya, Scott Acker
of Crimora; Stepmom Josephine Acker of Jacksonville, NC; sister, Sheila
Acker Grafton and husband Doug of Jacksonville, NC; brother Bobby
Acker of Jacksonville, NC; sister Michelle Acker of Jacksonville, NC;
Kenny Green and wife Jennifer of Wilmington, NC; Stepfather Danny Bell
Sr. of Taylorsville, KY; sister Moe Bell of Louisville, KY; brother Danny Bell
Jr and wife Theresa of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Lucas, Camden,
Tristan and Penelope.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a stepson Robert
Whitmore and Granddaughter Brielle.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on December 17th at Faith Point
Church located at 1900 Park Rd, Waynesboro, Va. 22980 at 11 am.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of
Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
