Gerald R. Abbotts

Gerald Richard Abbotts, 71, of Harrisonburg, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.

Mr. Abbotts was born Aug. 7, 1933, in Bridgeport, Conn.

He was a commercial cleaner and had also worked in safety and security at James Madison University and Bridgewater College. He attended Dayspring Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include two sons, Lucky Abbotts of Milford, Conn., and Craig Abbotts; a brother, Daniel Abbotts of Arizona; and two sisters, Charlotte Gladue of Bridgeport, and Joyce Deparie of Milford.

His body was cremated. The Rev. Tim Thomas will conduct a memorial service 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dayspring Church of the Nazarene in Mount Crawford.

Arrangements are by the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
