Cemetery Notes
Cemetery is well maintained and has a wrought iron fence around it. Notes on 24 Mar 2005 by Vicky Baugher Hensley: " A neighbor nearby the cemetery stated that there once was a wooden fence, outside of the wrought iron fence, and it contained the graves of some black folks. Among those was a man named Roscoe, and he had worked for the Earman family in Penn Laird."

Penn Laird area, Rockingham County, Virginia. From Harrisonburg take Route 33 East towards Penn Laird. Turn right on to Route 655 (Lawyers Road). Go 4/10 mile and turn right on to Route 1801 (Donnagail Drive). Cemetery is located in the backyard behind about the 6th house on the left side of the road.
