Cemetery Notes

In 2011 no attempt was made to locate this cemetery. In 1960s D.A.R. noted that cemetery was enclosed by rock wall at one time. In an iron fence enclosure is buried members of the Strickler Family. However, the stones were moved to the Fairview Church of the Brethren some years ago. Note-on the back of the new headstone at Fairview Church cemetery is a statement that indicates the dust of these four people remain in the Wise Cemetery. Notes in the Remarks Column were provided by William Algernon Good's in his book Shadowed by the Massanutten.
