Cemetery Notes
In 1967, J. Robert Swank recorded this cemetery and made a notation on his paper that "there are quite a few unmarked graves." Some of the "Remarks" are from J. Robert Swank and were included when he recorded this cemetery. The rows start at the top of the hill (older section) to the bottom (newer section) and from left to right. The cemetery is well kept.

Cherry Grove, Rockingham County, Virginia. At the junction of Cherry Grove Road (Route 752) and John Kline Lane (Route 880). From the Courthouse in Harrisonburg, take Route 42 North (High Street, name changes to Virginia Avenue, name changes to Harpine Highway) 7.4 miles to Wengers Mill Road (Route753) and turn left. Go 2.7 miles to Cherry Grove Road (Route 752) and turn right. Following the road signs, go 1.9 miles and the cemetery is on the right side.
