Cemetery Notes
Fenced erected in 1995 by Custer descendants who also placed the memorial marker with several names. Notes in "Remarks" column were taken from Pat Ritchie's book in 1999. In l967 J. Robert Swank indicated the cemetery is on the old Abe Hess farm. Pat Ritchie's book notes the land was owned by the Custer family from about 1750 to 1870's.

Fulks Run, Rockingham county, Virginia. From Fulks Run Grocery, continue west on route 259 for 1 mile. Turn left at the Valley Land Store onto Route 818 (Little Dry River Road). After crossing the bridge, turn right onto the private gravel and go as far as you can. The cemetery is on top of the hill and is fenced.
