Hensley Hollow Cemetery. This cemetery was not previously recorded and was found by Sue Propst. No DAR records of it.
Cemetery Notes
In October 1996, Sue Propst found and recorded this cemetery. She noted there are many graves without markers. Sue stated all of the people recorded as being buried here are descendants of Benjamin Hensley, Sr. and that this was the home place.

Hensley Hollow, Elkton area, Rockingham County, Virginia. From Harrisonburg, Virginia, take Route 33 East about 2 miles east of Elkton and turn left on Route 634 (Huckleberry Road). Go about 5/10 mile to intersection with Route 623 (Mt. Pleasant Road) and turn right. Go 2.3 miles to intersection with Route 622 (Hensley Hollow) and turn right. Go about 1.1 mile to end of road at gate. Private road to left (gated) goes to the Hensley Hollow cemetery. It is a short walk or if gate is open you can drive to cemetery.
