Row 6 - These graves are buried near the brick wall. Row 7 - There is a small section that is enclosed by a brick wall and this is the original portion of the cemetery and has a plaque erected that reads: Wiilliam Edward Gaines 1798 - 1875; Elizabeth Shotwell Gaines 1803 - 1884; Erected by Edward Christian Gaines - 1935. * Records show "this is a colored cemetery".
