Cemetery Notes
Cemetery is well maintained. Section 1 is the old cemetery across the street from the church and Section 2 is the new cemetery by the church. Section 2 recorded starting with the row by the road and facing headstones; recorded left to right (south to north). Section 1 (old cemetery) has many stones written in German and many limestone markers. Section 1 is enclosed by a fence with gate entrance about in the middle of it. Rows are recorded starting at the road to the back (roughly south to north) and headstones from left to right. Stones run in many directions & was very difficult to record. Following are additional data on grave locations; R=Row, G=Grave, center=roughly gate entrance. Section 1: west of Route 615, across road from church, enclosed by fence
Rows 1 through 6 (grave 8): at the southeast corner (to your left as you enter) and run north to center, at gate
Rows 6 (G9-16) & 7: bagins north of center (to your right as you enter gate) to northeast fence corner
Rows 8 & 9: each begins at south fence (behind row 6) going north to center (R8G1-13 &R9G1-14) and on to north fence (R8G14-26 & R9G15-26)
Row 10: begins at south fence going north to center
Row 11: begins at south fence going north to center (G1-15) and on to north fence (G16-28)
Row 12: begins at south fence going north to center (large gap between G16 & 17)
Row 13: begins at south fence going north to center
Row 14: begins at south fence going north to center (G1-9) and on to north fence (G10-18)
Row 15: begins at south fence going north to center (G1-24) and on to north fence (G25-43)
Row 16: begins near southwest fence corner going north to center (G1-15) and on to north fence (G16-24)
Row 17: begins with sandstone marker (G1) which is halfway into south half of cemetery; large gap to G2, going north to center (G10)
Row 18: begins behind Row 17 going north to center
Row 19: begins behind Row 18 going north to center (G1-9) and on to north fence (G10-20)
Rows 20 through 25: begin behind Row 19 at center and going on to north fence (Row 25 very short-does not go to fence)

Row 27: begin at southwest corner of fence going north; short row
Row 28: begins near southwest corner ~50ft from fence going north
Row 29: begins near southwest corner of fence
Rows 30 through 32: begin at west (rear) fence near southwest corner going north
Row 33: begin near west (rear) fence (G1-7:all sandstone); gap to G8 (sandstone in center); gap to G9-16 going on to north fence

Row 41: begins north of pile of stones and runs roughly parallel to west fence, ends in northwest fence corner
Row 42: stones lying along fence line
CNF (Row 043): Mr. Swank recorded 18 stones in the old cemetery in 1967 and I was able to match up 15 of them. These are the ones I could not find (CNF), but there were 3 sandstone markers that were illegible that may be these listed below in Row 044 (Mary L. Bowman 2004).
NPR (Row 044): These are out of place stones that I found that were not previously recorded (NPR) and are lying on the ground, so I was not sure if they were on the actual grave (Mary L. Bowman 2004)
Section 2: new section of cemetery next to church; rows begin next to Route 615 and run parallel to it towards church building, running south to north
